Dog Walking, A success!!!!
We decided to serve the dogs on Saturday! We LOVED it or I did anyways. Really, it's an awesome way to get to know the dogs and meet new people in your area. Just grab some teens and go to peoples door and say, we are doing a free service, walking dogs, can we walk your dog?
Serving is good for everybody. :)
CUTENESS!!!!
Making New Friends. :)
Ginger likes the car, so, we drove her home!
Yep, we will be back to walk you dogs again! :)

What's your theme song?
We picked theme song a while ago. I told my kids that I had a theme song and they should too. Just pick one that moves you, inspires you and has some meaning to something you want or believer to be true! Mine is Man in the mirror, by: Michael Jaskson. Andrew's is Where is the Love, by: Black eye peas. Alaina's is Demonds, by Imagine Dragons. The cool thing is whatever your song is it will move you and we listen to ours often. Today I focused on their words to their Life Songs b/c it helps me feel their inner desires for the world. I love my kids and I love Life. If you don't have a theme song for yourself, Grab one and let it move you. :-)

Tijuana, Mexico Orphanage Trip
Our trip to City Of Angels Orphanage, We crossed over the border on Friday night. Right away we got lost. I missed the lane/bridge. However, I was not scared at all! It was totally fine. I saw a Costco and then finally stopped at a 7-11 type place. There I met a really nice couple, they called the Orphanage for me and totally made sure I was going to get to where we needed to go. They met us there. God will always put the right people in your path when you are on his errands! :)
We arrived too late for Movie and popcorn so we where taken to the bunk house. Here volunteers can stay for $10 a person per night. It is about 15 mins. from the Orphanage. It was great b/c the people were so kind to us. We loved all the dogs that we saw as well. Just myself and two teenagers went.
Here was our view we woke up to. This is part of Tijuana, Mexico.
We made cars with the children. They all LOVED it.
Making bracelets.
We did a few loads of Laundry.
We took a break and got a few street tacos, my teens said, best tacos they have ever had! Score.
Hanging up the clean clothes, that day a donation was coming for a dryer! Yeah. You can meet them at the border if you just would like to donate and not cross over. This was the case for the dryer.
They made a forever friend. There is not a day that goes by that we don't think of him.
We walked up these stairs to get a better view of the Orphanage. It is the blue houses. All of the workers live at the Orphanage. There is SO MUCH LOVE there! God dwells there, no doubt!
He was a cutie.
Our forever friend, two peas in a pod, I love them.
We played games, made things, left things and had a pizza party for them. We got like 5 pizzas but these pizza's are So mucho grande.
My very favorite, The Mexican! You must try it if your down that way. Mama Mia Pizza. So good.
Good-byes were tough. But we smile that we had that experience.
This is Tenielle, When she was 17 she came to this Orphanage w/her Church group from Nebraska. She told us, she fell in love with the children. She ended up coming back and has been serving there for a couple of years. She also helps in Africa. She is now 23 and I love how she loves God and these children. This is what life is all about. She helped me plan our trip down there. Their website is www.tjkids.org and the name is City Of Angels.
The line to cross back over the border was SO fun! We laughed and enjoyed the 1 hour and 16 mins. Although it seemed so much shorter.
We even grabbed some Churros. We really feel grateful for our experience it was by far something we will never ever forget. LOVE is a great thing in this life.

Fear, get rid of it!
Fear implies anxiety and usually loss of courage. (Fear of the unknown) Also, to be be afraid of (someone or something) as likely to be dangerous, painful, or threatening. Fear can and does stop one from being better. Fear is darkness! How do I let fear go?
~ Set a date, on this day I will no longer allow fear in my life. Once you pick a date stick to it.
~ After you choose the date and let fear go do not allow it back in. For example be prepared to shut fear out right at the moment it tries to enter! Shut it out.
~ Notice how much more you are able to do things and most importantly don't let people talk you out of doing things! Just know that person may still carry fear, they are not you. Example, When I went to Tijuana, Mexico with my 13 and 15 year old, most people said, don't go! However, we did and we Loved the time we spent with the children in the Orphanage.
Free yourself of Fear, it is one of the best things I have done in my Life.
Two books I like that helped me over the years are: Life Strategies: Doing what works, Doing What Matters and Self Matter, both by: Phillip C. McGraw PH.D. You can find them on Amazon or a thrift store. Love them!
What are you waiting for? Jump in and see how free you feel, it's worth it! Jump in and start living life without fear. Free yourself, don't put it off b/c it has put you off long enough.

Service
This blog is to inspire those who have a desire to serve.
It's just a way of living for me, like eating healthy is a lifestyle. So is living
a life full of service. I've always loved Mother Teresa and her example. My favorite story is when the hospital (in India) put a man out of their doors as he was dying. She took him back to their Home where she stayed with him while he passed away. He had maggots coming out of his body as well. She was so kind and so Christ-like, I just love her. Joy and happiness really comes from living a Christ-like life! I hope you follow my posts/blog! I will be posting past service we have done. Which include, a recent visit to Tijuana, Mexico Orphanage, The Shade Tree(A shelter for woman and children who are homeless or in an abusive relationship, Lots of community service projects, and we are excited for our upcoming trip to another Orphanage in March! Having teenagers and seeing the impact it Makes in all of our lives is awesome.
